Today went for driving lesson and it's my first time driving on public road today!i was overwhelmed when the instructor asked me whether i'm ready to go to the road..anyway today i've finally learned how to keep to the lanes at least this instructor tells me how to keep to my lane and not just let me judge on my own which i've no idea how to!
Just came back frm shanghai last sunday and shall share abt my trip..the overall impression i have of china is the roads are messy, things r cheap and the ctry is really BIG.i'm really 'impressed' by the driving skills of the drivers there.one of the taxi ride was 'thrilling'..our taxi was stuck in a traffic jam and he just went to the lane with opposing traffic just to overtake the cars in front and tried to cut into the original lane again..gosh!it's so frightening when i'm seated next to him while my aunties were at the back seats.even the way the pedestrains jaywalk was also very scary..they expect the car to stop for them to cross the road..sigh..it's the same situation for the other places which i went.however i like the scenery there such as Hang Zhou's Xi Hu and tea garden,the village along a river in Su Zhou,Wu Xi's San Guo Cheng and Nan Jing's gate walls and Kongzi Temple street.Back in Shanghai,visited my aunty's friend and his family.They r really very warm towards us even his parents wanted to accompany us to the town area to shop..but i dun feel comfortable shopping with them around afterall it's not very nice to let them walk with us for hrs while we shop..when we went to meet them for dinner in a function room in a hotel near his hse,it's really cool.there's a karaoke system in the room and we can sing and eat in the same room just like some restaurants here but it must be quite ex..however my throat suffered cos his relatives smoked and the whole room was very smoky..nonetheless i enjoyed myself tt night and it's rather interesting chatting with his cousin.Oh..and the next day when we went for lunch with his family,they brought us to this restaurant in town and it's really unique cos some of the waitors are on skates and they will deliver the dishes to the tables via their skates!isn't it cool?!i was very amazed then haha..after tt was shopping,shopping and shopping.however i had an unpleasant experience.i was abt to buy some earrings but my aunty stopped me frm buying cos she said tt it was ex.then the girl grabbed my hand firmly and start to bargain with me but i didn't want to buy after tt and she refused to let me off..when i walked away she started to scold me..such poor attitude really disappoints me..well tt's quite an unpleasant experience with the sales assistants in shanghai.at night went to my aunty's friend hse for dinner and his father bought the fresh abalone frm the market and guess what?it costs just 80cents per abalone!of course it's not those very high quality ones but they tasted not bad though:)
