31 December 2005
Today is the last day of 2005, looking forward to a new year yet can't bear to leave this year..it's truly an eventful year for me with joy, sorrows and fear..well i'll just round up this year by reporting on the events and memories of this year..
Jan
Choir com began to interact more after the christmas feast at yi-mei's house..i was glad that we could finally sit down and talk to each other and work together..
celebrated my birthday
EG came to sg on 23 for meet the fans session @ the zoo..wonderful memories there and also a day when we can get so near to them and talked to them..see first time seeing them with ah meng haha..and sw was so afraid of him haha..fun!
Feb
Started preparation for choir concert and i was in charge of ticketing..so did quite a few tables and keying in data every other day,chasing ppl for ticket money, worried over the ticket sales and 5 choir practices per week..going home at 9 was a norm during that period of time..then i felt so drained everyday.
AJ Family day..we r in charge of the 'giantron' ride..i tried once it's really thrilling..but as for the fair in general..it's ok but was glad to see my friends visiting me!
March
Celebrated my sis bday together with my cousin on 9..it's so sweet of her to ask her mother to specially order a cake for my sis and the msg on the cake was thought by her who is only 6 yr old!
'No Importa La Distancia',the name for our concert and as the days drew nearer to our concert day, the practices became more stressful well because we didn't sound like what mr kwei wants..the tickets were finally sold out during the week just before the concert..phew!i was so relieved!as for our singing wise during the concert, as usual we rushed like a train but some songs we sounded quite nice though :) as for the second half..my first time standing in front to dance(nervous) ..it turned out quite well and we ended the second half with 'no importa la distancia'..i really love this song!
April
EG came to sg for nkf show..and they wrote out the no. using their mouths..impressive!
went for AJ idol..fun experience!
May
SYF Central Judging at SCH..really nervous then..but we did it!finally got gold with honours!!
preparation for olomouc competition..a lot of effort put in..every practice was intensive
June
Prague trip
Olomouc competition..we got second in both catergories, 99 marks!and got into the grand finals!Second placing too!
Common tests started at the end of the mth..did badly
EG came to sg to promote their album BUT i was in prague!!!couldn't go for their auto..disappointed =.=
July
EG 'Goodbye concert Singapore' held on the 9th..a fantastic concert..i almost stood throughout the whole concert (as usual haha) and tt was also my first time reaching home at 4am in the morning..well i really did such crazy stuff only for them..but it's really worth the wait cos had a great chat with bel and amelia after such a long time..really enjoyed myself tt day..i'm thankful for the memories we had while chasing them and also the unforgettable memories they gave me too!well, it was a totally different feeling when watching this particlar concert..then it was ah di who was leaving and i actually cried when they sang 'chuan yue yi guang nian' and 'wo men' i couldn't control my tears then..perhaps i was too emotional..afterall i've supported them since 2002..seeing them one by one leaving the grp, it's hard not to get emotional..
On the 10th, they had another auto for the 'gai ban' album..of course i went for it!but there's a tinch of sadness throughout the whole auto..well basically we dunno when they will come to sg again as in all 4..tt's why..i was very low..even mk looked very down or maybe he was tired when he's usually so cheery and smiley..when they finished signing..each of them said a few words and they sounded very down..
Aug
Went for NDP preview cos i won 6 tics!this is my first time winning NDP tics!for once i felt tt i was lucky cos i usuall don't haha!so i went with my little cousin and she was so excited when she knew tt she's gg for NDP preview..
Wilber came to promote his new album 'gao shou'..went DXO for his showcase and kbox too!first time taking pic with him..haha but he's just so hyper..once he hears his song 'who's mvp' he'll move with the music and rap too..haha!but he's quite nice though well perhaps cos he doesn't have a big bunch of fans surrounding him..so it's easier to talk to him haha..
Had choir farewell cum official handover ceremony on the 14th, tt's the day tt marks the end of my accounting work and collection of monthly choir funds but the start of the studying for A's..sighz..
Sept
Prelims..screwd up the papers again..beginning to worry but tried my best to work harder..
Attended my cousin's wedding on mid autumn festival day at downtown east..which was on the 18th..the day just before econs and chem paper..my little cousin looked sooo sweet with her pink dress but her make up was scary haha..
Oct
Saw xiao mei and mayday at j8 on the 9th..
14 oct: farewell assembly..i was strong..i didn't shed a tear!but took quite a lot of pics with the class and 135 too! :) and i'm officially graduated frm aj..
18 oct : went back for mr tan's farewell..i was very touched ms sabariah's speech..
went back to sch almost everyday to study and had quite a few consultations with the tutors..
Nov
the long awaited A's finally here..the qns were very different..i was surprised too see weird qns..and gp was bad..
4 Nov: EG came for JQJ and it falls on sw's bdae!this yr i bought tics and it's my first time watching it live at suntec convention hall..but kd was injured..he looked so pale..so worried for him..anyway they look great with their new outfit and they sang 'wo men' live which sounded fabulous!
Mk finally came to sg!he's so fair my goodness!and he's still the same as friendly as before but now there isn't any irritating security to 'protect' him and he's alone no longer with the 3 of them..he came with yellow ge and wan quan yu le's reporter..attended his dance workshop and i enjoyed myself durin the lesson and to be able to learn dance frm mk has always been my dream haha..now tt i can even take a pic with him..i was so excited!thk u mk!
Dec
Started work at taka and met a lot of dif kinds of ppl..the really rich ones, the arrogant ones etc..but i just dun like one of the staff there..bad attitude, poor character..i think she's hopeless..i doubt she'll change for the better..
went for caroling too!it was fun to sing christmas carols again..it brings back the memories of 2004..
7 dec: went for class gathering at bugis,everyone's still the same but really had a gd chat with the gals :)
10 dec: went to watch mayday's concert and it's the longest concert i've ever watched without feeling bored..and i met si min at expo and she was also gg for the concert too!
31 dec: i went down to esplanade for countdown with my mother,aunt and my sis..the fireworks display was excellent!it reminds me of the fireworks display which i saw during the opening of the esplanade..
tt's the end of my report for 2005..indeed there's a lot of things to say for 2005 and the wonderful memories will always be kept in my mind..goodbye 2005 and hello 2006!
